Well its been awhile since our residency but we are now in the thick of making work for an exhibition at Canberra Contemporary Art Space - Gorman House, which will open mid July. We will post some of our work in progress in the next few weeks as it starts to come together.

If anyone is after some higher resolution versions of any of these images, email us here, as we are happy to provide.
Also, if anyone is keen to identify the fly or plant samples, please do so by commenting…
For all those in and around Canberra, we will be launching our book on the 23rd of November at the Front Gallery (Lyenham Shops, Wattle St.) Canberra. The launch starts at 6:00pm, however it will be officially launched at 6:30 by Dr. Martyn Jolly. For full information about ‘The Present History’, click here.
We have been back in Canberra for about a month now, during which we have been busily finishing off our book. As it is with the printers and binders at the moment, we have had some time to catch up with the Palaeoworks crew and also had a chance to meet Pierre Proske, who is currently artist in residence with the Department of Archaeology & Natural History. It has been really interesting having the chance to talk with Pierre about his experiences and perspectives on, what for all intensive purposes, is the same residency which we completed some months ago. I think it must also be interesting for the Palaeoworks group to have multiple artists working with them, as each artist brings with them their own particular interpretation of their work.
We will be giving a presentation this Friday (6th October) at the Centre for New Media Arts at the Australian National University. We will be discussing our invovlement in the Synapse residency project and generally our practice over the last couple of years. Oh yes, the presentation will be at 3pm.
